Our DVIR compliance solution leads the driver through a simple and methodical inspection process. Drivers can report defects as well as certify their repairs, greatly streamlining pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
What are DVIRs?
DVIRs are Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, a formal confirmation that a driver has performed the daily pre- and post-trip commercial motor vehicle inspections, as required by Federal Law 49 CFR 396.11 and 396.13. DVIRs help ensure potential vehicle safety issues are identified and fixed, and failing to comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulation can result in DOT violations and fines.

“EROAD Inspect is a nice feature. As an in-vehicle DVIR it makes the driver’s log book completely paperless and provides us with an effective reporting tool that’s great for tracking if documented defects have been corrected.”
