How Fleet Map helps your fleet

Every call to a driver asking where they are takes time out of both your days. With Fleet Map, dispatch, fleet managers and customer service all work from the same live view, from the whole fleet down to one delivery, and trailers and equipment fitted with Etrack asset tracking show up there too.

Everyone works off the same map

Dispatch gets near real-time location with driver and vehicle details alongside, so they can decide who takes a job without ringing round first. Fleet managers and the health and safety team have it open too, and so does whoever takes the customer’s call.

Find any vehicle, trailer or driver

Zoom right out and it’s all on screen, clustered where it gets busy. Find any vehicle, any trailer or piece of equipment with a tracker fitted, and drivers by name as long as they log in. Come back later and the map’s where you left it.

Send the closest vehicle

Spot the vehicle closest to a pick-up or drop-off and filter for a route that suits it, with live traffic and truck restrictions in view. Rest stops for trucks and highway exit numbers are marked as well.

Replay a past trip

Safety teams can replay a trip as an animated line on the map and see each safety event where it happened. Drill in for the status, the speed and what the vehicle was doing at that moment.

Ask for footage from a point in the journey, if the vehicle has a Clarity dashcam fitted

Plan routes that suit the vehicle and load

A car’s route won’t always suit a truck. Put in the vehicle’s height, width and weight, and whether it’s carrying a hazardous load, and the planner works around the restrictions, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) to match. You can steer clear of tolls and tunnels, and see weighbridges, loading docks and delivery entrances along the way. The planner’s in the MyEROAD mobile app, too.

Plan stops and arrival times

Because the ETA is worked out for that vehicle and that load, it’s one you can give the customer with some confidence. That saves a call to the driver, and it gives you a better shot at meeting the service levels you’ve agreed.
