Powered assets carry a GPS unit that reports position directly. Unpowered assets carry a Bluetooth tag, read by any Ehubo2 or ETrack Where app that passes within range. That is the mesh network.
A tag has no power source and tells you where an asset was last seen. A tracker is powered and tells you where it is now, plus run hours and distance travelled.
Assets appear in MyEROAD alongside your vehicles, and geofences set there apply to both. Job management integrations are handled separately.
