EROAD assists with wheel safety alerts

Wheel loss on a vehicle is a huge risk to your drivers, the public and your business, and failure to re-tighten wheel nuts after a short period of in-service running is a major safety issue. Re-torque alerts use distance travelled from the in-cab Ehubo2 to ensure your drivers know exactly when wheel nuts should be re-checked for correct torque: an automated message is sent straight to the driver in their cab, and your fleet managers and despatchers are also notified on the MyEROAD web platform to ensure nothing is missed.

Automate your fleet's preventative maintenance

EROAD's telematics platform simplifies your vehicle servicing by using real time, usage-based data to create preventative maintenance scheduling. It tracks metrics like time lapsed, mileage and engine hours, making it easier to identify when a vehicle is due for servicing and repairs. You also have access to a complete service history archive at the touch of a button, which helps support your compliance and insurance requirements.

Capture defects and maintenance issues in real-time

EROAD's Inspect gives your drivers the ability to capture defects on the spot and action their repair. Drivers carry out pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, using either EROAD's App on a mobile device or the in-vehicle Ehubo2, with customisable inspection templates that match the requirements of your vehicles and assets. Failed items feed straight into EROAD's defect board so you can view, prioritise and action reported defects at any time, and reports provide a full audit trail of defects, their resolution and who actioned each item. Defects notified in Inspect can be monitored and scheduled in MyEROAD Fleet Maintenance.

Boost driver accountability for vehicle maintenance and handling

Speed, harsh braking, cornering and acceleration all have an impact on your fuel and maintenance bills. EROAD's Drive Buddy helps identify correctable driving behaviours and allows you to quickly address them with real-time coaching: the in-vehicle Ehubo2 captures essential information on driver behaviour, provides real-time coaching feedback to the driver, and records the data for viewing in MyEROAD.

MyEROAD Fleet Maintenance takes the hassle out of this whole process by centralising all of the information and communications in one place.

  • Alerts can be sent to drivers in their cab via the Ehubo to remind them of appointments
  • Drivers can alert to issues using the Inspect app, which syncs this information to the Service Module
  • OEM parties can be given access to update the services they have performed, keeping all of the information in one place
