CAN Bus Connect: engine data from your heavy vehicles

Engine faults caught late turn into big repair bills and time off the road. CAN Bus Connect reads data straight from the engine on compatible heavy vehicles, so you can spot issues early.

Why it helps

How CAN Bus Connect helps

Catch faults early

Set alerts on engine data so you hear about a potential issue before it becomes a bigger, more expensive repair.

See the fuel you actually used

Fuel use comes from the engine itself, down to trip level, rather than being worked out from litres bought.

Keep idling in check

Use the same alerts to see when idle time goes beyond what your company policy allows.

Features

What you can do

Smart Rules: alerts on engine data

Choose the data points that matter, such as engine temperature, set thresholds and stand-down periods, combine rules, and decide who in your team gets notified.

Fuel Economy: fuel burn from the engine

Set fuel targets by vehicle, group or the whole fleet, then drill down from total fuel burn to individual vehicles and drivers. It also estimates CO2 emissions from fuel burn.

Engine data behind every harsh event

A harsh event also records engine speed, wheel speed, accelerator and brake pedal position, and whether ABS was active.

Works with the trucks you run

CAN Bus Connect suits heavy vehicles from makes including Volvo, Scania, Kenworth, Isuzu, Hino, Fuso, Iveco, DAF, MAN, Mercedes, Freightliner and Western Star. Data available varies by model.
