Know where your plant is and what it did

Excavators, rollers, trailers and the small tools that stay behind on the last job. Once plant moves between jobsites, a sign-in sheet stops telling you much, and gear you can't find is gear you hire twice.

Match the tracker to the asset

Etrack G70 is wired into the machine's power, so it reports running hours as well as location. Oyster 3 runs on its own battery, which suits trailers and unpowered gear. Where and Where Mini are Bluetooth tags for lower-value items, and they only update when an Ehubo2 or a phone running the Where app is close by. Everything but the G70 needs an Ehubo2 plan.

Jobsite by jobsite

Utilisation reporting, without the stocktake

Draw a geofence around a jobsite and it logs each asset's comings and goings, with running hours for any machine fitted with a G70. That's what an internal plant charge is built from.

What you'll see
  • Which assets are being used, and which are just sitting there
  • Where each asset was last seen
  • An alert when an asset leaves a site it shouldn't

Fuel Tax Credits (FTC) you can back up

Many operators settle for a standard rate because the real figure is hard to prove. FTC reporting works it out from GPS-verified off-road travel and your fuel data, for vehicles on an Ehubo2 plan.

Behind the claim
  • Off-road kilometres captured as you go, not added up at claim time
  • GPS separates on-road from off-road travel, even where a worksite crosses a public road
  • Backdate up to four years, once you can show six months of consistent use

One of the big wins we've had
We've got accuracy in utilisation reporting, which is definitely a tangible benefit. It's accurate cost tracking, essentially.

At Hiway, plant charges used to take ten or more hours of admin a week: a list of what went where, matched against pre-starts and timesheets.

Defects reach the workshop before the machine does

Pre-starts go into an app, not onto paper, so nothing waits for a form to find its way back to the office. Inspect is a MyEROAD add-on for Etrack G70, Oyster 3 and your vehicles.

For the workshop
  • Servicing planned and logged for each machine
  • A defect tracked from the moment it's raised to the day it's signed off
  • Checklists you set up to suit your plant

Chain of Responsibility runs on evidence

Good intentions don't show up in an audit, but a record of who was driving and how they drove will.

  • Driver login by PIN, so there's no fob to lose or share, on all three Ehubo2 plans
  • In-cab feedback on harsh braking and cornering, on Ehubo2 Safe Driver Plus
  • Idle reporting on the same plans, and on Etrack G70

Class Ruling 2024/39

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has confirmed that the Fuel Tax Credit report EROAD generates from the Ehubo in your vehicle can be used as an official record for FTC purposes. So your claim rests on a record the ATO has already accepted, not a figure you worked out.
