It’s easy to spend all your time on the drivers who get it wrong. Leaderboard turns that around. It shows you who’s driving well, and rewarding them tends to get far more out of your drivers than chasing bad habits.

Drivers know where they stand

The star rating is simple to read, and drivers can see how they compare with the rest of the team. A good rating counts for something, too. Many drivers put theirs on their CV.

Reward the drivers who earn it

Pick out the week’s top driver for a prize, or fold the rankings into a formal reward programme. Leaderboard keeps score either way, so healthy competition doesn’t turn into extra admin for your managers.

Vehicles get rated too

Drivers not logging in? Leaderboard ranks vehicles instead, on the same one to five stars. That’s on every Ehubo2 plan, Connected included, so you can still reward the teams behind your best-driven vehicles.

How the star rating works

What your drivers see

Rankings track how each driver is going over time. With Safe Driver or Safe Driver Plus, drivers can check their own rating whenever they like in the EROAD Assist app. And it’s worth putting the Leaderboard up where shifts start and finish, on a tablet or laptop, or as a printout on the wall.

What goes into a star rating

Thinking of tying rewards to the stars? Here's how drivers are scored:

At the end of each trip, the driver gets a score out of 100 for the trip
Things that drop the score down are: speeding, harsh braking and sharp acceleration - how often they happen and how severe they are.
Good driving over time moves a driver up.
Star ratings compare your drivers with the wider EROAD driver population.
