Private Mode for personal use of work vehicles

When team members use a work vehicle for their own trips, you need to respect their privacy, and in some states that's the law. With Private Mode, a driver marks a personal trip private on the Ehubo2 screen, so its location and driving behaviour aren't tracked.

Workplace privacy laws protect people who use a work vehicle for their own trips, and they differ from state to state. Private Mode helps you meet them and avoid fines, while you keep vehicle telematics for every work trip. It works with the fringe benefits tax (FBT) logbook too.

Switch it on from the Ehubo2 screen

When the work vehicle is theirs for weekends and holidays, the driver switches Private Mode on before heading off, for that one trip or for the whole day.

  • Runs on the in-cab Ehubo2, so there's no extra hardware to fit

What your team sees in MyEROAD

While Private Mode is on, your team won't find a route in MyEROAD, or anything on how the vehicle was driven.
