Why it helps

Three things Connected changes

Your telematics already knows what happened. Connected shows you.

The full picture, both directions

Dual-facing HD video pairs what happened on the road with what happened behind the wheel.

Nothing for the driver to do

Fully integrated with the Ehubo2 and MyEROAD, it records and uploads without any action in the cab.

Evidence when it matters

Automatic clips capture the triggering moment, protecting drivers from liability when they did nothing wrong.

Capabilities

What it actually does

Up to 40 hours of drive-time footage

Connected records continuously and stores up to 40 hours of driving, easily retrievable using MyEROAD Replay. Drivers can also record and send video on demand.

  • Continuous recording while driving
  • Up to 40 hours stored, retrievable in MyEROAD Replay
  • On-demand recording from the cab

Twenty-second clips around every event

Each automatically uploaded clip runs 20 seconds: the triggering moment plus ten seconds either side, from both cameras. The camera is always on whenever your truck is, but only a harsh driving event sends a clip to MyEROAD for review.

  • Uploads automatically on speeding, sudden braking or swerving, or an actual crash
  • Ten seconds of context before and after
  • Road and cab views together

Keeps recording out of coverage

Leveraging major telecommunications networks, Connected keeps recording even when the vehicle is out of coverage. Footage then resumes uploading once you are back in range.

  • Records beyond network coverage
  • Uploads when coverage returns
  • Leverages major telecommunications networks

Privacy options built in

Recording can cover both inside and outside the vehicle, or just outside, depending on your company's needs and policies. The goal is education, prevention and, where an accident has happened, proof of the facts.

  • Audio recording optional and set to OFF by default
  • Lens caps give privacy to drivers who sleep in their cab in auxiliary mode
  • When no events occur, footage simply overwrites itself

How it works

Three steps from Ehubo2 to evidence

1

Pair it with the Ehubo2

Connected is made for the EROAD ecosystem and joins the telematics you already run.

2

It records on its own

Continuous recording while driving, automatic clips when events trigger.

3

Review clips in MyEROAD Replay

Footage lands beside the telematics data, so the numbers and the video tell one story.

Fleet insights

Efficiency reporting and service scheduling come with the platform.
