New Zealand’s leading transport technology company, EROAD, has commenced a commercial pilot of its electronic road user charging technology in Oregon, USA.
Like New Zealand, Oregon operates a weight and distance based road user charge regime for all heavy trucks operating in, and transiting through, the State. The goal of the pilot is to demonstrate that the EROAD technology platform correctly and reliably records Oregon truck mileage in a secure environment, and that the web-based software generates accurate and auditable weight-mileage records.
