EROAD signs multiyear agreement with Andretti Autosport to supply fleet management, ELDs, dashcams and asset tracking for the team’s truck fleet.
PORTLAND, OR – November 17, 2020 – EROAD, a leading global transportation technology services company, today announced a partnership with Andretti Autosport to supply hardware and services to the iconic auto racing team to enable fleet management, compliance, and safety.
Andretti Autosport, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, is led by racing legend Michael Andretti and fields multiple entries in the INDYCAR SERIES, Indy Lights, and GT4 Americas. Also under the Andretti racing umbrella are its Andretti Formula E program and Walkinshaw Andretti United in Australia. The global racing enterprise boasts over 200 total race wins, four IndyCar Series championships, three Indy Lights titles, one Indy Pro 2000 and one USF2000 championship, and has captured victory five times at the famed Indianapolis 500-Mile Race.
Andretti Autosport runs a seven-month season, with its fleet of tractors hauling custom transporters containing racecars and highly specialized parts, tools, and equipment on board. Often crisscrossing the country several times a month and working with precise scheduling, the team is dependent on its logistics operation running smoothly and predictably. With highly visible rigs sporting sponsor brands front to back, adherence to traffic laws, compliance regulations and high safety standards is critical.
