EROAD is a fleet management technology company headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, with offices in Sydney, Australia; Manila, Philippines; and San Diego, USA. We are dual-listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) and the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) under the ticker ERD.

We build and deliver end-to-end telematics solutions, the hardware, software and services that give fleet operators a complete, real-time picture of their operations. EROAD operates across three regions, serving fleet businesses from 20 to 5,000 vehicles. From owner-operators to multinational enterprises managing thousands of vehicles and specialist assets across complex supply chains.

New Zealand

New Zealand is where EROAD was born and where we remain the market leader. In 2009, EROAD launched the world's first nationwide GNSS/cellular-based electronic Road User Charging (RUC) system, replacing paper-based processes with a certified, NZTA-approved electronic solution. Today, EROAD serves thousands of New Zealand businesses across heavy, light and specialist vehicle fleets.

Australia

EROAD serves fleet operators across Australia with a full suite of telematics solutions, including fuel tax credit automation, health and safety compliance and fleet management tools. The Australian business was significantly expanded through the acquisition of Coretex in 2021, a telematics specialist with deep roots in the Australian and North American markets.

North America

Based in San Diego, California, EROAD serves customers with vehicles operating in every US mainland state. EROAD is a leading Electronic Logging Device (ELD) provider and has built enterprise-level relationships with major customers.

Our Story

EROAD has been building fleet management technology from New Zealand for more than two decades, growing from a pioneering road charging technology company into a global telematics platform, trusted by fleet operators across three countries.

  1. 2009

    EROAD launches the world's first nationwide GNSS/cellular-based electronic road user charging system in New Zealand. A genuine world first in transport technology.

  2. 2019

    EROAD reaches 100,000 contracted units globally. Winner, Company of the Year, NZ Export Awards. Winner, Technology, Equipment and Manufacturing, Global Road Achievement Award.

  3. 2020

    EROAD lists on the ASX. Rated #1 ELD in North America on eldratings.com. Launches the Core360 platform and EROAD Clarity dashcam.

  4. 2021

    EROAD acquires Coretex, significantly expanding its product portfolio, customer base and global footprint. EROAD enters the NZX 50.

  5. 2022

    EROAD surpasses 200,000 contracted units globally. Launches EROAD Satellite Communications and expands asset tracking capabilities.

  6. 2023

    EROAD surpasses 240,000 contracted units. Processes $5.5 billion in Road User Charges since 2010. Signs a five-year whole-of-fleet contract covering 500+ milk tankers with Fonterra, one of the largest dairy companies in the world.

  7. 2024

    EROAD named finalist for Hi-Tech Company of the Year at the NZ Hi-Tech Awards. Surpasses 100,000 connected units in North America.

  8. 2025

    EROAD surpasses 250,000 contracted units. EROAD Fleet Day hosts over 1,500 people, becomes largest fleet management conference in Australasia. Signs Australia's largest waste management and resource recovery company, Cleanaway, for the installation the EROAD In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) in over 3,250 vehicles.
